Job Overview

The Design Engineer will participate in product design activities, including developing innovative designs and improving existing products. They will perform basic engineering analysis to ensure designs meet project goals, support design schedules, and effectively communicate design status among peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute design schedules and test plans to validate designs.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis, and work with vendors to develop production part designs.
  • Communicate product design activities to department peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Work with operations, materials, marketing, sales, and support teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.S.) required.
  • Experience in design and/or manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Working knowledge of 2D and 3D Modeling software (Inventor preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Familiarity with product components and designs, understanding how they relate to project performance goals.
