Urban Ltd. is seeking a senior licensed land survey professional to manage a portfolio of projects in its Chantilly, VA office.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $110,000 - $180,000.

Job Description

This role involves managing a team to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects. The ideal candidate would be trained and mentored to advance and lead the survey department as its director in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Supervise the field coordinator in scheduling survey crews and office staff based on project deadlines.
  • Oversee the generation of all survey-related work, such as boundary & topography surveys, plats, ALTA, and construction surveying.
  • Compile and organize daily project field data.
  • Coordinate, communicate, and direct the work of the office staff and field crews to provide precise location and grade control for site construction projects on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional Land Surveying License (PLS) in VA, MD or DC.
  • A minimum of six years of surveying experience.
  • Proficiency in Land Surveying, including the latest technology.
  • Strong CAD Software Background.
