We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a full-time, direct hire in Chantilly, Virginia.

This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to impactful site development projects and work on diverse public & private projects.

About the Role
  • Contribute to multi-discipline projects with various clients, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality results.
  • Prepare site development drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, transforming land survey data into comprehensive site plans that adhere to municipal regulations.
  • Design site layout, removals, grading, utilities, and other infrastructure elements.
  • Develop SWM plans: H&H modeling, Erosion and Sediment Control [E&SC], relevant design calculations, etc.
  • Process land development applications through regulatory approval, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related technical discipline).
  • At least 4 years of professional experience working in Civil Engineering (preferably with Land Development and/or Site Design projects).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer; active PE in Virginia is preferred.
  • Experience working on brownfield (land redevelopment) as well as greenfield projects.
  • Proficiency with designing SWM plans; proficiency with H&H modeling tools (e.g.: HydroCAD, Hydraflow, etc.) is preferred.
  • Proficiency with engineering/CADD tools (e.g.: AutoCAD Civil 3D, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $83,000-$118,000, depending on experience.
