Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Evaluation: Perform comprehensive assessments to identify each patient's specific prosthetic and orthotic requirements, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Device Design and Production: Develop customized orthotic and prosthetic devices that correspond with patients' anatomical structures and functional aspirations, prioritizing comfort and efficacy.
  • Device Fitting: Accurately fit devices to ensure maximum comfort, functionality, and alignment, making necessary adjustments to enhance performance.
  • Patient Instruction: Provide education to patients and their families regarding the use, maintenance, and care of devices to support long-term success and independence.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation and comply with regulatory standards to ensure organized and thorough patient care.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with medical professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care, emphasizing teamwork and coordinated treatment strategies.
  • Ongoing Education: Stay informed about industry developments to provide state-of-the-art prosthetic and orthotic solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • ABC Certified in Orthotics and Prosthetics or Board Eligible
  • Proven experience in evaluating, designing, and producing prosthetic and orthotic solutions
