About the Role

As a Senior Commercial Estimating Manager at CaseCo LLC, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success. Your primary responsibility will be to develop accurate and competitive estimates for commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects for a general contractor. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is also required. Additionally, you should possess strong organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

You will work closely with the Vice President, clients, and project teams to deliver winning proposals and best-in-class pre-construction services. Your expertise in managing preconstruction phases and implementing value-engineering efforts will be invaluable to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed and accurate estimates for labor, material, and equipment costs
  • Perform quantity take-offs across multiple trades to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy
  • Research and forecast material, labor, and equipment pricing for cost estimating projects
  • Create scopes of work and bid packages of multiple trades to ensure scope coverage
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, bid packaging, and contract negotiations
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects for a general contractor
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience in managing preconstruction phases and implementing value-engineering efforts
