Job Title: Dog Trainer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dog Trainer to join our team at New Horizon Kennel, Inc. As a Dog Trainer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch animal care and leading engaging training sessions for our furry friends.

Responsibilities:

- Provide animal care and handling
- Lead training sessions for dogs
- Participate in enrichment activities
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for animals

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with animals
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and reliability
- Excellent listening, time management, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and be physically active

Preferred Qualifications:

- Animal science degree
- Animal behavior schooling
- Dog handling experience
- Experience with off-leash canine play groups
