**Job Title:** Manufacturing Operations Specialist

About the Role:

Aerotek is now hiring a skilled Manufacturing Technician for Volkswagen in Chattanooga, TN. This role requires the use of various hand and power tools to disassemble heavy equipment components.

Responsibilities:

  • Tear down vehicles using chisels and grinders
  • Mechanically disassemble equipment
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools for tasks
  • Perform grinding and chisel work
  • Document quality checks in Microsoft Excel
  • Ensure quality assurance through proper documentation

Requirements:

  • Experience with assembly and mechanical assembly
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
  • Experience with grinding and chisel work
  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices

Work Environment:

Work in a top-tier, temperature-controlled automotive manufacturing facility. The first shift runs from 6am to 2:30pm.

Pay and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $23.50 - $25.50 per hour, reflecting the location and industry standards.
