Job Title: Direct Care Support Professional

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Support Professionals at The NEEDS Center in Haverhill, MA.

Salary: $21 per hour

About the Role:

The Direct Care Support Professional will work closely with adults with developmental disabilities to assist and support them in living independently while enjoying all aspects of community living.

This is an entry-level role with great potential for career growth and training is provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting individuals in daily routines, developing daily living skills, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting and supporting individuals in daily routines.
  • Supporting residents in developing daily living skills, such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Implementing clinical, educational, and vocational programs.
  • Observing and recording data for established programs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with behavior management preferred but not necessary.
  • Good driving record.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
