  • Ensure adherence to project specifications and company protocols
  • Create comprehensive design documentation
  • Communicate system design and updates clearly
  • Develop user-friendly interfaces for automation systems
  • Perform extensive testing prior to system deployment
  • Offer technical assistance to the sales department
  • Identify potential project opportunities and assess risks
  • Support functional testing of intricate systems
  • Conduct site visits as required

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in HVAC controls or Building Automation
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Capability to climb ladders and lift weights up to 50lbs
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Associate Degree with 6+ years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Proficiency in building automation software, particularly Automated Logic systems
  • Strong knowledge of Automated Logic software and hardware components
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc.
  • Understanding of Enterprise IP networks and Microsoft Visio
  • Expertise in creating operational documentation for systems
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to varied audiences
