Job Overview

The DEI Program Coordinator for Internal Partners plays a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive workplace culture at Boise Cascade Company. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of program management for internal DEI partners, including organizing and leading meetings and communications that promote actions in line with the company’s DEI vision and messaging.
  • Work collaboratively with HR leaders and regional managers to ensure effective communication, address the needs of internal DEI partners, and assist in the onboarding process for new partners.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and resources aimed at enhancing cultural awareness and advancing DEI initiatives among internal stakeholders.
  • Create, refine, and manage DEI-related marketing materials and communications, ensuring consistency with the company’s branding and messaging strategies.
  • Guide and support external vendors, providing insights and resolving issues as they arise to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain and update DEI content on the internal SharePoint site, facilitating the creation of new pages as necessary.
  • Act as a DEI representative within the organization, advocating for the internal DEI partner framework and its value to enhance employee engagement.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership and other DEI stakeholders as required.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and developments in the DEI landscape, undertaking additional tasks to support the DEI team and advance strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Essential

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, with a solid grasp of DEI principles and best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop project plans and monitor progress to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation and marketing capabilities.
  • Experience in leading discussions and facilitating both individual and group interactions.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess situations, derive insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve results.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to travel as required, exceeding 25% of the time.

Desirable

  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, communications, and marketing.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, both written and verbal.
