Job Title: International Logistics Intern

Join the J.R. Simplot Company team as an International Logistics Intern and take on a challenging role that will help you develop your skills in international customer and logistics services.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our international logistics operations. As an International Logistics Intern, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing international orders, and ensuring timely and accurate shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate regularly with team members and management to inform on international service operations activities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Process customer orders through information systems, resolve problems with shipments, and maintain order management discrepancies and communications.
  • Provide quality service to customers through on-time, clear communication, closure follow-up, order follow-ups, and dispatch confirmations.
  • Identify and communicate current or future transportation issues, as well as recovery plans, and plan and route transportation of goods via air, ocean, and ground.
  • Support implementation, maintenance, and service levels of carrier performance and generate, obtain, and provide various required export documents.
Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.
