About the Role

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated and experienced RN for Radiation Oncology at Monmouth Medical Center.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in Radiation Oncology or Oncology and possess a strong understanding of patient care and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Orient new patients to the Radiation Oncology Department
  • Assist the MD with patient exams
  • Educate patients and families about their care and self-care throughout their program
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements
  • RN Degree
  • NJ RN License
  • At least one year of Radiation Oncology or Oncology experience
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN
  • Specialty Certification
Scheduling Requirements
  • Per Diem Day
