Lead Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities and technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate a team of technicians to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Establish priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate work projects
  • Provide clear direction to staff through effective verbal and written communication
  • Instruct staff in work details, observe performance, and encourage improvement
Technical Duties:
  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance according to manufacturers' specifications
  • Inspect and adjust all systems daily
  • Maintain and repair property equipment, including HVAC systems, irrigation systems, plumbing and electrical systems, food/beverage equipment, courts, pools, and laundry equipment
  • Resolve facility and public space maintenance issues
  • Perform various repairs and maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, switches, outlets, faucets, and toilets, hardware installation, filter replacement, painting and wall covering, caulking and grouting
  • Use basic hand and power tools effectively
  • Maintain the appearance of the building's exterior and interior
  • Adhere to work order policies and procedures

  • Ensure a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Maintain good working relationships with all departments

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance and repair
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

Compensation details: 21-23 Hourly Wage
