Join us as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator - OR and be part of a skilled team of registered nurses and OR techs. Our specialties include orthopedics, GI, podiatry, general, and vascular surgery.

Your Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced perioperative nurse to coordinate patient care and support our management team in achieving excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing/BSN - Highly Preferred
  • 1+ years experience in perioperative healthcare - Required
  • 1+ years experience in leadership role - Preferred
  • Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure
  • Required valid BCLS Certification upon employment
  • ACLS, PALS and/or other as required for patient care area and by facility

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical coverage, 401(k) plan, education assistance, and more.
