Job Summary
Patterson Companies Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Independent Freight Broker/Agent to join our team. As an Independent Freight Broker/Agent, you will leverage our industry-leading infrastructure, extensive carrier network, and comprehensive back-office support to maximize your earning potential.

Main Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage freight transportation for clients
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients and carriers
* Utilize our Transportation Management System (TMS) to streamline operations and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of shipments
* Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and ensure timely and cost-effective freight transportation

Requirements
* A portable book of business with actively shipping customers and a monthly gross profit minimum of $35,000
* Proven experience as an Independent Freight Agent or Broker with 2 or more years of experience
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Proficient in utilizing transportation management systems and technology
