Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at American Air Filter International. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing world-class support to our customers, exceeding their expectations through advanced soft skill techniques, product knowledge, and timely problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and other departments to provide information on products and services, quotes, order entry, and customer complaints.
  • Investigate and respond to customer inquiries, prioritizing urgent matters.
  • Maintain knowledge on lead times, product information, pricing, and shipping schedules to accurately and efficiently assist customers.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken in SAP and PC software systems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5 years' prior experience in customer service or a related area, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, apply basic algebra and geometry, and analyze problems.
  • Organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, creativity, and a team player mindset.
