Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Coordinator to join our team as a New Patient Ambassador at Florida Urology Partners LLP. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for new patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule new patient appointments with the appropriate provider
  • Facilitate prior authorization for in-office encounters, as directed by the office and/or provider
  • Document patient inquiries and encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (EPIC and ECW)
  • Communicate with office point of contact(s) to successfully book appointments
  • Notify Front Desk Supervisor or Practice Manager of scheduling/authorization issues, reschedules, and other issues

About the Role:

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of medical office experience and be proficient in electronic medical records (EPIC and ECW).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required
  • At least one year of medical office experience required
  • Electronic medical record experience (EPIC and ECW) required
  • Adept at Microsoft Office Suite required

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a professional medical office setting and requires sitting for 8 hours per day with occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. We offer excellent benefits, including membership to the YMCA and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
