The Davis Companies is seeking an experienced Automation Systems Specialist to join their team. This is a direct position in Hudson, NH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions to minimize costs while maintaining reliability
  • Coordinate with other departments to satisfy project requirements and drive continuous improvement in job processes and costs
  • Provide industry-specific application knowledge and direction to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Develop project requirements and design specifications to meet customer needs
  • Maintain customer specifications and logging of deviations to ensure quality and compliance

Requirements:

  • Associate degree and 4 years of experience in robotics, controls, or engineering; OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 2 years of experience in robotics, controls, or engineering
  • 1 year of experience in automated controls systems and robot applications
  • Efficient use of 2D AutoCAD to generate control system packages
  • Functional electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
  • Competence in industrial machinery controls design
  • PLC/HMI programming experience with an emphasis on Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and Siemens
  • Experience with different fieldbus architectures such as DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus
  • Functional experience programming VFD's and Servo controllers
