Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration; hotel engineering/maintenance experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration; parts inventory and requisition experience a plus.
- Supervisory experience a plus; ability to train and mentor other engineers.
