Retail Talent Acquisition Specialist

At The Paper Store, we are committed to being the premier destination for all of our customers' gift-giving needs. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Talent Acquisition Associate to join our team.
Job Summary:The Retail Talent Acquisition Associate will support the Talent Acquisition Specialist by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and maintaining accurate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties involved.
- Manage candidate communication, including sending interview confirmations, feedback, and follow-up emails.
- Assist with job postings on various job boards, company websites, and social media platforms.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information and status updates.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess skills, experience, and alignment with job requirements.
- Participate in recruitment marketing initiatives, such as career fairs, open houses, and university outreach programs.
- Provide administrative support for the Talent Acquisition team, including preparing reports, data entry, and organizing recruitment events.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment coordination, or a related administrative role, preferably within a retail environment.
- Strong focus on outreach and sourcing candidates using various tools, such as social media platforms, job boards, networking, and other recruitment channels.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
