Critical Care Nurse

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a critical care nurse, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver individualized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care, using evidence-based practice and analytical thinking.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to the patient's specific characteristics, such as age, gender, and disease.
- Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve patient goals, using effective communication methods such as bedside shift report and interdisciplinary rounds.
- Practice using current clinical practice standards, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care, promoting a fiscally responsible and collaborative team environment.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice to promote safe and quality patient care.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia or RN licensure in a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ACLS certification.
- Direct patient care experience in a critical care setting.
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
