Job Summary:

We are a 24-hour emergency and referral hospital providing quality veterinary care to the River Region. As a Part-time ER Overnight Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in our emergency department, working closely with our experienced veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with emergency surgeries and medical procedures
  • Monitor and care for critically ill patients
  • Perform various laboratory tests and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
  • Experience in emergency veterinary care, preferably in a 24-hour hospital setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
