Compensation: $3,000 - $5,000 sign-on bonus available, dependent on previous experience.

Job Summary:

The Certified Ophthalmic Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our ophthalmic physicians in the evaluation, treatment, and management of patients with specialized eye care needs.

Requirements:

Associates degree preferred or at least two years of specialized training in a relevant field. Successful completion of an accredited program for Ophthalmic Assistants/Technicians or equivalent, plus a minimum of six months of satisfactory full-time work under ophthalmologic supervision. Must be certified as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant by JCAHPO.

Experience:

Requires current experience in the last two years as an ophthalmic technician or assistant, or an equivalent combination of education and medical experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities may be acquired.
