Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Funding Acquisition Manager to join our team at Dreaming Out Loud Inc. This role will involve researching and identifying funding opportunities, developing and submitting grant proposals, and managing grant relationships.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing grants from various funding sources and excellent communication skills. The salary for this role is estimated at $85,000-$115,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Identifying potential public, private, corporate, and foundation grant opportunities aligned with our mission and strategic goals.
• Developing and maintaining a grant database to track prospects and opportunities.
• Preparing compelling, accurate, and timely grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and applications, including gathering necessary documentation and data from relevant departments.
• Customizing grant applications to align with each funder's priorities, ensuring alignment with our organization's goals.
• Overseeing the entire lifecycle of grants, from award to close-out, ensuring all deliverables are met.
• Monitoring compliance with grant agreements and managing relationships with funders.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business, English, or a related field and at least 5-10 years of experience in grant writing and management. Proven track record of securing grants from various funding sources is essential. You should also possess excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
