About the Role

Adecco USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs to various machinery, equipment, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility/grounds, as well as non-routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, articulating lifts, forklifts, and other machinery as required.
  • Quality Control: Use gages and measuring instruments to verify and meet tolerance requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and repair equipment using various tools and equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records and update in electronic database(s) as required.
  • Inventory Management: Manage spare parts inventory and ensure that necessary supplies are available.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with operations staff to fix and mitigate downtime events.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant mechanical experience, including troubleshooting and/or maintenance of industrial motors or motor controls, metal fabrication, and troubleshooting and/or maintenance of large industrial mechanical/electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read, write, and speak English, basic math skills, and ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing environment, experience with the Microsoft Office suite, ERP systems, and previous experience using precision tools, machinery, and equipment.
  • Skills: Welding experience, ability to operate scissor lifts and/or forklifts, and ability to be a team player and contribute positivity to company culture.
