We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Walmart Dairy Plant in Fort Wayne, IN. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing automated machines, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, and assisting other maintenance technicians as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand technical drawings to repair and maintain equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment according to procedures
  • Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment
  • Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
  • Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment
Requirements
  • 2 years' industrial maintenance experience working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment
  • 1 year's experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
