Lantana Recovery of Connecticut LLC offers a unique opportunity to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals who share our commitment to providing exceptional care to individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Substance Abuse Specialist to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of State and Federal regulations, as well as Joint Commission standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with Clinical Staff, medical personnel, and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and History and Physicals, diagnose illnesses, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Prescribe medication to reduce mental health and physical symptoms, complete documentation, and participate in Medical meetings.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Staff and medical personnel to ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Consult with the Medical Director and staff on client programs and services.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing School and licensure as a Psych Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • At least two years of experience working with substance use/dual diagnoses.
  • Demonstrated passion and compassion for client care, proficiency in modern EMR, and exemplary documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with DHEC and The Joint Commission requirements.

Estimated Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 per year

Location: Hybrid, New Milford, CT
