Position Overview

As a Technical Research Analyst, your typical responsibilities will encompass the following:

The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive all-source research utilizing various client-provided tools to bridge gaps in understanding and identify potential opportunities and risks associated with telecommunications infrastructure initiatives. A solid understanding of the Open Systems Interconnect (OSI) Model is essential, along with familiarity regarding the challenges and risks tied to global support for telecommunication projects.

  • Conducts advanced research, analysis, development, and evaluation of systems, procedures, and models within the assigned functional area.
  • Identifies and defines problems, researching viable solutions that maximize profitability or effectiveness concerning cost or risk.
  • Creates models of problems using multiple equations that relate constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
  • Establishes data requirements, gathering and validating information while applying judgment and statistical tests.
  • Organizes and analyzes technical data and reports into summaries for management review, outlining problems, evaluations, and potential solutions.
  • Validates and tests models to ensure adequacy and determines the necessity for reformulation.
  • Employs complex systems and applications in the problem-solving process.
  • Designs, conducts, and evaluates experimental operational models in situations where insufficient data exists to formulate a model.
  • Provides coaching, guidance, and leadership to less-experienced analysts, potentially taking on supervisory responsibilities.
  • Acts as a technical team or task lead.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
