As a key member of the IKO North America team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's hiring process. Your expertise in talent acquisition will ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

This is a one-year fixed-term opportunity to make a lasting impact on the company's recruitment strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough shortlisting to identify top candidates for hiring managers
  • Stay up-to-date on US and Canadian legislation regarding recruitment and selection processes
  • Review job descriptions to ensure clarity and effectiveness in job postings
  • Provide expert guidance on interpreting test results, shortlists, interviews, and assessment center performance
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Stay ahead of the curve with recruitment tools and processes to ensure high-quality candidate experience
  • Prioritize roles and optimize time-to-fill vacancies
  • Design and conduct interview and assessment centers
  • Administer and interpret psychometric tests
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection activity for overseas hires and internal transfers

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a talent acquisition function, specifically in manufacturing and plant operations recruitment
  • Strong knowledge of performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • A degree in Business Management or Training in team leading is a plus
  • CHRL or equivalent is an asset
  • Experience in ATS usage and calibration
  • Previous recruitment experience in a manufacturing setting is an asset
