  • Plan and organize banquet functions, including setting up banquet rooms, arranging for food and beverage service, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Supervise and train banquet staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure that all events are executed to a high standard.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that all events are profitable and that waste is minimized.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and front office, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, event hosts, and other stakeholders to ensure that all needs are met.
  • Ensure that all events are executed in accordance with hotel standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
