Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Kidney Treatment Professional to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care. As a key member of our inpatient dialysis care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nephrology nursing and experience working with critically ill patients. You will be required to provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients on hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and CRRT modalities.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform other essential nursing duties as needed.
  • Supervise and educate PCTs and other support staff as required.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient care.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • A current RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working in nephrology nursing, preferably with experience in CRRT.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training programs.
