About the Role

KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Aerial Flight Surgeon to join our team at Nellis Air Force Base. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional medical care to our beneficiaries, ensuring their health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient health care to qualifying beneficiaries as scheduled by the Government.
  • Maintain a program of comprehensive health for the family unit, to include preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health.
  • Examine patients, formulate differential diagnostic plans, and order required diagnostic testing.
  • Interpret examination findings and test results, and implement treatment plans.
  • Determine need for consultation and assist in medical care and treatment provided at the direction of other specialists.
  • Approving/disapproving subspecialty referrals.
  • Answer patient telephone consults with the assistance of clinic staff.
  • Providing primary and secondary preventive maintenance care.
Requirements
  • Possesses a Doctor of Medicine degree or a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathy.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency.
  • Must have a minimum of 35 hours of direct patient care in the past year.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the last 10 years having served as a privilege flight surgeon at a US Military installation.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license from any state.
  • Board certification in Aerospace Medicine is highly recommended.
  • Possess current BLS, PALS & ALCS certifications.
  • Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
