X-Ray & Medical Technologist Job Description

CITYMD is seeking a skilled X-Ray & Medical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for taking high-quality X-ray images and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take accurate and detailed X-ray images following CITYMD protocols
  • Document patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform common X-ray studies within specified timeframes
  • Use internal software to document and communicate X-ray studies
  • Assist physicians with medical procedures and facilitate diagnostic tests
  • Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and physicians over the phone
  • Assist with CLIA waived tests and EKGs
  • Provide compassionate care to patients
  • Assist with training and acclimation of new hire X-ray techs and scribes
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program
  • 4-6 months experience as a X-ray Technologist
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Functional and practical knowledge of various computer systems
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting light to moderate amounts of weight
  • Heavy computer use

CITYMD offers a competitive salary of $37.50 - $40.00 per hour, as well as benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
