Join VML as a Creative Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director to lead our creative team in Seattle. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative output for our largest technology client and driving innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires a strong understanding of the creative process, as well as the ability to manage and direct multiple creative teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing creative strategies that drive business results, as well as mentoring and coaching a team of creative professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct multiple creative teams on social workstreams
  • Concept and develop campaign thinking and big ideas for large-scale paid opportunities
  • Find and capitalize on proactive creative opportunities on the core business, as well as occasional opportunities with other major clients
  • Build and lead a team of creative innovators, shaping the team culture and chemistry
  • Develop and deliver creative work that meets the highest standards of quality and innovation
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of creative experience, with senior creative management experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of the strategic and creative process, including a distinct understanding of the conceptual and executional phases
  • Experience giving effective creative direction that leads to great work
  • Ability to manage medium and large-scale productions, as well as lead scrappy teams who create, make, and edit social content day-to-day
  • Portfolio featuring a wide range of award-worthy creative work
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in a team-oriented workplace
