Medical Assistant Professional

At BAY AREA ENT SPECIALISTS LLP, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support in our busy ENT office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes, setting up medical equipment, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use, maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of physicians, physician assistants, or clinical supervisors, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with medical exams, office procedures, and administer medications or injections as directed, providing patient education and support.
- Prepare exam rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Follow OSHA regulations and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Ability to complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and with high attention to detail, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- CPR Certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Allergy and/or ENT experience a plus
