Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in hospital or departmental performance improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Process images in accordance with industry standards and techniques, utilizing your expertise to produce high-quality results.
  • Administer CT procedures and exams, adjusting equipment and selecting proper scanning parameters to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Monitor patients and machines during procedures, reporting any unusual occurrences and recording patient conditions.
  • Take appropriate measures to ensure patient safety, adhering to infection control protocols and providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform Point of Care Testing for Urine HCG and Creatinine, calculating GFR as needed.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the AVP/Director and or Imaging Manager/Supervisor/Lead Tech.

Requirements:

  • Current license American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)(CT) is required.
  • Associate must obtain advanced certification within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of training program.
  • Recent acute care experience in the specialty is required.
  • Current Texas license Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification is required.

Education:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate state licensure and National Registry(s) is required.

Compensation:

  • $28/hour - $42/hour, depending on experience.

Nights, Mixed, Days, Flexible
