Position Overview:

The Clinical Coordinator - RN is a pivotal role within our healthcare facility, responsible for overseeing nursing operations and ensuring high standards of patient care. This position requires a dedicated professional who is committed to enhancing the quality of care provided to residents.

Educational Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and hold a valid nursing license issued by the Georgia Board of Nursing. Additionally, certification in Basic Life Support is required.

Professional Experience:
We prefer candidates with a minimum of five years of active practice as a Registered Nurse, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve effectively as Charge Nurse when designated.
- Oversee the management of the Medication Cart and related equipment.
- Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality.
- Engage in the annual State Survey process.
- Exhibit proficient clinical skills and apply the nursing process in care planning for residents across all age groups.
- Ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Complete documentation with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain current licensure and certifications pertinent to the role.
- Supervise nursing staff effectively.
- Assume primary responsibility for admissions and discharges.
- Facilitate clinical orientation and training for direct care staff.
- Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives, including data evaluation and reporting.
- Complete necessary reports and audits as required.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new clinical personnel.
