Position Overview
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and social-emotional development by providing comprehensive occupational therapy services. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create individualized treatment plans and foster a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on improving motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure students' successful participation in the educational environment.
