Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees, as well as protecting our assets and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as accidents, attacks, and other security breaches.
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations, such as evacuations and first aid responses.
  • Complete incident reports and other documentation to ensure accurate records of security-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior work experience required, but a background in law enforcement or security is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with guests and employees of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
