Dental Sterilization Specialist

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a highly skilled Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a key member of our dental department, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper inventory, decontamination, assembly, inspection, packaging, sterilization, storage, distribution, and tracking of dental supplies, instruments, and equipment throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory and manage dental supplies, instruments, and equipment
• Decontaminate and assemble dental instruments and equipment
• Inspect and package dental supplies and instruments for sterilization
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment
• Store and distribute dental supplies and instruments
• Track and record inventory and sterilization processes
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HPSA) Certification or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

As an additional condition of employment, the successful applicant must be able to comply with the applicable standards of SCF's Background Check Policy, including the requirements imposed by the Alaska Barrier Crimes/Conditions and Background Checks regulations, the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act, the Crime Control Act of 1990, and the mandatory and permissive exclusion provisions of the Social Security Act.
