Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
Responsibilities- Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patients to identify and meet their needs.
- Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards and guidelines.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
- Circulate all cases.
- Assist with room turnover and restocking for next day's cases.
- Act as an advocate for patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.
- One year experience preferred.
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
Our campus is a 60,000 square foot integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, 92 inpatient beds, and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services.
