AAMCI is seeking a dedicated Lead Maintenance Technician for a multi-family housing community. This role is essential in ensuring the upkeep and operational efficiency of our properties.
This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, offering a competitive hourly wage of $22.00, along with additional compensation for on-call duties.
The community focuses on providing affordable housing solutions, catering to income-eligible residents. In this role, AAMCI emphasizes the importance of exceptional customer service, effective safety management, and the continuous development of technical skills to foster a supportive environment for our residents.
This position includes participation in an on-call emergency response system for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with premium pay for each call-out.
AAMCI offers numerous training opportunities and support for obtaining advanced certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Install and repair electrical systems and components
- Assemble and maintain plumbing and machinery
- Utilize a variety of tools, including hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments
- Complete and manage work orders efficiently
- Order necessary parts for repairs
- Document the type and cost of repair work performed
Essential Qualifications:
- HVAC/EPA Certification is required (or must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
- Commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
