Community Counseling of Bristol County, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Specialist Supervisor to oversee the Co-Occurring Enhanced Residential Rehabilitation Services (COE-RRS) Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision to recovery specialists on a regular basis.
  • Develop and manage the monthly staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage of the program.
  • Ensure the physical and nutritional needs of residents are met, including meal planning and shopping.
  • Coordinate transportation for residents to and from appointments.
  • Review weekly group attendance and approve weekend passes for residents.
  • Assist with new intakes for the COE-RRS program.
  • Conduct medication observations with residents.
  • Assess and track clients' stages of change and treatment readiness.
  • Implement evidence-based practices, such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral approaches, to support residents' recovery.
  • Collaborate with residents to understand the impact of addiction on their lives.
  • Address the consequences of substance misuse and support long-term recovery.
  • Provide community resources for substance abuse and mental health concerns.
  • Report daily to the Program Director/Clinical Director for guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
  • Three years of relevant experience or five years as a substance abuse counselor.
  • Addictions/Substance Abuse Certification preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with the adult mentally ill population.
  • Knowledge of recovery resources and diverse populations.
  • Experience facilitating groups and recovery-based activities.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
