KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver outstanding customer service aligned with our Company's standards.
  • Manage the operations and staffing of the Meat Department.
  • Implement and uphold company policies and procedures, particularly regarding food, employee, and customer safety.
  • Analyze reports to identify achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Schedule, oversee, train, and delegate tasks to meat cutters and clerks.
  • Adhere to division guidelines for the merchandising strategy.
  • Conduct monthly inventory assessments of sales areas and storage.
  • Maintain precise inventory records and documentation.
  • Propose adjustments to inventory and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare meat orders for the department.
  • Verify meat deliveries for accuracy and quality.
  • Regularly assess meat displays for freshness and remove expired items.
  • Follow markdown protocols as outlined by the division.
  • Safely operate equipment such as grinders, tenderizers, saws, and knives for meat preparation.
  • Comply with internal and regulatory food safety standards (including daily temperature checks).
  • Create signage for displays as necessary and ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Handle special customer requests and provide tailored cuts.
  • Adhere to the uniform and grooming standards as defined by company policy.
