Our Perioperative Clinic in Twin Falls, ID offers a unique opportunity for Advanced Practice Providers to work in a specialized setting that combines perioperative risk assessment, chronic medical problem management, and risk stratification. This approach has significantly reduced perioperative complications and same-day cancellations of surgery, while streamlining anesthesia care on the day of surgery.

We are seeking an experienced APP to join our team, preferably with expertise in hospitalist work, internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, or another medical specialty. The ideal candidate will have excellent consultative skills, be able to work independently with remote support, and possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $145,000-$165,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary, retirement plans, and access to financial and physical wellness options.

Job Description

As a Perioperative Clinic Specialist at St. Luke's Health System, you will be responsible for assessing perioperative risk, optimizing management of chronic medical problems, and performing risk stratification. You will work closely with our hospitalists and APPs to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgery. Your duties will include:
  • Assessing patient risk factors and developing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with hospitalists and APPs to optimize perioperative care
  • Providing education to patients about potential complications and strategies for minimizing risk

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in Idaho
  • Experience working in hospitalist settings, internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, or another medical specialty
  • Excellent consultative and communication skills
