Key Responsibilities

  • AR Portfolio Management: Manage our AR portfolio, including national account relationships and large VIP accounts, to ensure timely and accurate collections.
  • Credit Risk Management: Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data to assess creditworthiness and make informed decisions on credit extensions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Credit Analysts, providing coaching, training, and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting on AR status, regional metrics, and forecasting to inform business decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Finance, to resolve credit and collection issues.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.
  • Experience: 6+ years of progressive management and leadership experience in credit and collections, with a strong background in the distribution or HVAC industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving business growth and improving processes.
