Insight Global's client, a prominent IT Infrastructure Security firm, is looking to recruit a CCTV Technician. This lead technician will be tasked with managing the installation of various fire and security low-voltage systems in large retail environments for notable clients. Your role will involve troubleshooting, testing, and programming Fire alarms, Burglar alarms, Access Control systems, CCTVs, POS systems, and more.

Work Schedule

Typically, you will be required to work overnight hours to ensure installations occur when stores are closed to the public.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel is essential. Depending on project needs, you may be on the road for several days. All travel-related expenses will be covered.

Vehicle Use

During the initial contract period, you will need to use your own vehicle, for which you will receive a gas card and a weekly stipend. Upon transitioning to a permanent role, a company vehicle will be provided.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct service work at customer locations according to the established schedule.
  • Provide timely updates to Project Management Teams and Service Centers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client escalations; resolve issues or escalate as necessary.
  • Execute complete structured cabling system installations across various environments.
  • Terminate and test Category 5e and 6 copper cables to industry standards.
  • Terminate and test Multi-mode fiber according to established guidelines.
  • Install and service equipment racks, cabinets, and cable support systems.

Compensation Overview

This position offers a competitive pay rate of $29.31 per hour during the contract period.
