Key Responsibilities- Work a daily business plan and communicate with incoming traffic, phone-up follow-up, sold follow-up, orphan follow-up, service follow-up, and letters
- Update business plans and client cards, and utilize eLead CRM to manage and measure lead activity
- Leverage auto responders, personalized email templates, and phone guides to drive appointments and sales
- Manage and measure all lead activity and results, including initial email response, personalized emails, initial phone call to set appointments, and confirm appointments to drive show rate
- Greet incoming sales opportunities, conduct comprehensive needs assessments, and initiate the EMI process
- Select the right vehicle with the help of the Floor Manager, present the vehicle based on the client's needs and wants, and demonstrate vehicles at the dealership
- Present arithmetic to customers and facilitate paperwork, deliver vehicles, and sign customers up for first service appointments
- Unsold follow-up of prospects who do not buy, follow-up for people who did not show for appointments, and sold follow-up for customers who buy
- Referrals and household prospecting, ongoing customer contact to promote loyalty and retention, and facilitate automated follow-up
- Renewal contacts to re-sell the customer base, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Previous sales experience, preferably in automotive sales
- Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills, well-organized, and self-motivated
- Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local laws governing retail
- Sitting: Remaining in the seated position
- Standing: Stand for long periods of time
- Walking: Be able to move around the facility and grounds
- Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Crouching: Bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine
- Far Vision: Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more
- Depth Perception: Three-dimensional vision
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
Be able to work outside in weather and inside a climate-controlled environment
Demonstration DrivesSalespersons will accompany customers on demonstration drives. Under no circumstances will customers be allowed to drive a new or used automobile without being accompanied by a salesperson.
Dress CodeAll salespeople will keep themselves and their work area neat and clean. Excellent hygiene and grooming are a must. A Company Polo or shirt and tie are required for all men and business professional for all women.
