About the Role:
The Senior Associate Director of Career Management will play a key role in managing the Career Fellows Program, which supports career-related programming for first- and second-year students. This position will design, manage, and execute all responsibilities related to the Career Fellows and Mock Interview Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and manage a team of Career Fellows to provide career preparation assistance to students through mock interviews, networking meetings, resume reviews, and interview preparation training sessions.
- Supervise Career Fellows and provide timely feedback on their performance.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for maintaining the office's quick response to changes in the economy and students' industry choices.
- Work with industry Recruiting Relationship Managers to broaden corporate relationships within their industries.
- Contribute to the content and execution of various projects, including student resume processes, mock interviews, trek management, web design, and other student-related programs.
- Instruct, counsel, and advise MBA students on long-term career development and immediate job search objectives for full-time MBA positions and summer internships within the Tech industry.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MBA or other graduate degree strongly preferred, along with a minimum of five to seven years of prior work experience in recruiting, job placement, career counseling, or coaching, and/or significant industry experience in one or more of the following industries: Consulting, Consumer Products, Diversified Financial Services, Energy, Health Care, Hedge Funds, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Private Equity, Public Interest, Real Estate, Retail, Technology / Telecom, Travel & Hospitality, Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship.
- Highly motivated and dedicated individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Previous managerial experience required, along with an ability to work as a strong team player.
- Able to interact across multiple levels, and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve required goals.
- Deep knowledge of business and business careers, and strong written and oral communication skills.
