Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Sales Growth: Focus on expanding the sales territory.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and potential risks.
  • Strategic Development: Define market opportunities and formulate effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Sales Evaluation: Continuously assess and refine the sales approach.
  • Business Evangelism: Actively promote the brand and drive new business initiatives.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture business partnerships within the industry.
  • Sales Engagement: Maintain an average of 15 client visits per week.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Wana at various industry events and conferences.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Field Work: Spend 80% of time engaging in field activities.

Supervisory Role
This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in the cannabis sector.
  • Direct experience in customer engagement.
  • Ability to implement and manage effective sales strategies.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Results-driven team player with strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and performance goals.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with promotional events is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Sales experience is essential; cannabis experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary based on experience, ranging from $60,000 to $90,000, with potential bonuses.
